Alfred Eisenstaedt

After looking at a lot of Alfred Eisenstaedt's work, I took particular interest in this shot. After looking at posed photos that he had took of dancers and Marilyn Monroe I found that this has something else to it. Not everyday where I live do you see eight Jewish men walking down a street holding books underneath their left arms. The contrast of their dark outfits to the light background creates a dramatic effect, enhancing the males' silhouettes.
